How to Set Up Your Website for FREE!

The next step in setting up an online business is setting up your website. You have chosen the niche you are interested in and purchased a domain name related to your niche topic. Now you are ready to get started actually building the site that will draw in customers and provide you with an income.

I highly recommend that you purchase hosting and from a company that uses renewable energy sources – green hosting is affordable. Right now the hosting company I use is having a promotional special, so check it out and be amazed that you can get hosting AND a domain name for less than $4.00 a month!

One of the great things about ipage hosting is the way they make it easy for you to set up your website – there are three choices. They also have great customer service – I know, I’ve called three times with “dumb” questions and they answered the questions thoroughly and without making me feel “dumb.” I highly recommend the service.

I don’t want to spend money on hosting right now – I’m broke, you say?

Okay, then you have several choices of free blogs to set up as your own website. Most will accept the domain you purchased – just follow the instructions. Trust me; it is easy to install your own domain name and most sites have step by step video tutorials, too. If I can do, you can do it with less stress!

Weebly.com is a easy to use site and I have a Weebly account at http://www.goinggreenwithoutsuffering.com where I give information on going green without giving up modern conveniences. Weebly is easy to use and you can have a website and blog all in the same place. You can check out my site or click on one of the links to get the full details.

Blogspot.com is another good free website and I have an account there, too –  http://griefandlosshelp.blogspot.com that I set up to help people deal with one of the worst events in their lives.

Those are two choices that I am familiar with and know for a fact are easy to use and work as promised.

Okay – so now you have your niche, your domain name and your website. And, now you are ready to add content.

Yeah, but I don’t have anything to write about? How will I fill up my blog?

Don’t worry – I’ve got you covered on that and it won’t cost you a dime! Visit “Free Content for Your Blog or Website” for all the details.
